Darry Ring: When and Where Did You Meet?
Brenda: We met many years ago in secondary school. It was about 15 years ago which sounds like a long time but it seems like 15 minutes. Every day I learn something new about him and we appreciate each other more and more. I remember the first day I ever saw him and the first time we talked. He was so friendly and so sweet and so funny. We were friends for quite a while and when I didn’t see him at school, I was always a little disappointed.

When we asked Vanness about how he knew that he was in love with Brenda, he looked at her with such love in his eyes.

I didn’t exactly know that I was in love, he said, I just knew that every day, no matter how insignificant, I had something I wanted to talk to her about. I found myself waiting to hear her opinion any time I had to make a decision, and when something good happened, I was always excited to share with her first, and I still am. I guess that was being in love, and I hadn’t put a name to it.
