His Regret

Sam & Liz are long-distance couples. One is in Singapore; one works in the US. After a vacation in 2019, Sam came back to the US while Covid-19 was just starting to explode. And that’s when Liz found her pregnancy. She shared happily with Sam and thought they could be together soon, but they didn’t see how badly it would go. Covid-19 spread quickly in an invasive trend, causing lockdowns in countries and cities. Pandemics separated the couple in different countries.

All the suffering 10 months, say nothing of the fear and inconvenience in pandemics, Liz took care of the unborn baby and herself alone. Sam said it was the darkest time to him, that he couldn’t help a little bit but accompany via online chats and video calls. Until the date of giving birth, Sam said he was so desperate that he could only talk and see Liz via phone, to know how’s Liz feeling, and tried his best to comfort her. “I was kneeling on the floor of my apartment, crying. I didn’t know what I could do to make her feel better.”

Absent of this significant moment, Sam thought a lot. There are regrets in life, but luckily they’ve already found each other. He decided to propose to Liz, and he searched for lots of different engagement rings until he found Darry Ring. “To your one & only, to your lifetime lover.” That’s what he exactly wanted to promise Liz.

After negotiations and arrangements, Sam finally got the chance to fly to Singapore. He proposed at first sight of Liz and his baby. What they’ve been through is touching, and the love & determination between them is what Darry Ring is always supporting.
